SATURDAY 2 APRIL 2022

WE ARE OPEN AGAIN - JUST IN TIME FOR THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS.

WE ARE PROGRESSIVELY WORKING THROUGH A LONG LIST OF PATH REPAIRS AS THE GROUND DRIES OUT.  THEREFORE NOT ALL PATHS ARE UP TO OUR NORMAL STANDARD YET.  TO COMPLICATE MATTERS A BIT, MOST OF THE LOCAL QUARRIES ARE WATERLOGGED MEANING THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCESS PATH REPAIR MATERIAL AT THE MOMENT.

VISITORS ARE ADVISED TO WEAR SENSIBLE, OUTDOOR FOOTWEAR.

AUTUMN DAYS HERE ON THE DOWNS ARE BEAUTIFUL BUT WE DO TEND TO BE A BIT COOLER THAN ON THE COAST.  IT WILL PAY TO BRING SOME WARMER CLOTHING WITH YOU - ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN ONE OF OUR FIVE REMAING NIGHT SAFARIS FOR THIS SEASON.

WE ARE OPEN EVERY DAY FROM 9am to 4pm.  LAST ENTRIES ARE AT 3pm AND THE ZOO CLOSES AT 4pm DAILY.

THERE ARE ALWAYS LOTS OF NEW DEVELOPMENTS AT THE DARLING DOWNS ZOO WITH RECENT ARRIVALS INCLUDING TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF LEMURS AS WELL AS THE BEAUTIFUL AND ENDANGERED SRI LANKAN LEOPARD.

OUR FULL ROSTER OF PERSONAL ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS IS NOW ON OFFER AGAIN AFTER THE TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ZEBRA AND GIRAFFE ENCOUNTERS.

COME AND MAKE A DAY OF IT - WE LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR VISIT TO QUEENSLAND'S LARGEST REGIONAL ZOO.
